HURRICANE DAMAGE? Free storm damage inspections & emergency tarping in Mobile & Baldwin counties. Call or text 251-308-0135 | Storm help
Water coming through the ceiling after a storm? A properly installed tarp stops more water from getting in and protects your home until permanent repairs can be made. Call (251) 308-0135.
Short answer: a tarp prevents further water damage to your decking, insulation, drywall and belongings, and most insurance policies expect you to take reasonable steps to prevent more damage after a storm.
A tarp is a temporary fix. It needs to be installed correctly, secured so wind cannot peel it back, and followed by a permanent repair or replacement.
Wet, storm-damaged roofs are dangerous, especially in wind or rain. Downed power lines and weakened decking add more risk. Stay on the ground, stay out of rooms with sagging ceilings, and let a trained crew do the work.
Move valuables and electronics away from the leak, put buckets or towels down, and if a ceiling bulges with water, keep people out of that room. Take photos of any damage for your insurance claim.
Honest assessment, photos of what we find, and a written estimate before any work begins.
A tarp is meant to be temporary. Sun, wind and rain wear it down, so plan on permanent repairs as soon as possible. We will give you an estimate for the repair when we tarp.
Many policies cover reasonable costs to prevent further damage after a covered loss. Keep your receipt and photos and check with your insurance company.
We prioritize active leaks and storm damage. Call (251) 308-0135 and we will give you a time. After major storms, demand is high, so call as early as you can.
We do not recommend it. Climbing on a wet, damaged roof is dangerous, and a tarp that is not secured properly can blow off and cause more damage.
