Water Damage Restoration
When a roof leak or storm lets water into your home, fast drying and proper repair keep the damage from spreading. ARC Roofing fixes the source and restores what got wet.
Why Speed Matters
Short answer: the longer materials stay wet, the more damage you get. Soaked drywall, insulation and subfloors can sag, swell and grow mold, especially in our humid Gulf Coast climate.
The first step is always stopping the water, which usually means a roof repair or emergency tarp. Then we remove what cannot be saved, dry the structure and rebuild.
Signs of Hidden Water Damage
Brown or yellow ceiling stains, bubbling or peeling paint, sagging drywall, a musty smell, warped floors and damp insulation in the attic are all signs water is getting where it should not. Water from a roof leak often travels before it shows up, so the damage can be bigger than it looks.

Water Damage FAQs
Can I just paint over a water stain?
Not until the leak is fixed and the area is dry. Painting over a wet stain hides an ongoing problem and the stain usually comes back. Wet drywall and insulation may need to be replaced.
Will my insurance cover water damage from a roof leak?
Sudden damage from a covered event like a storm is often covered, while damage from long-term leaks or wear may not be. Check with your insurance company about your policy.
Do you handle mold?
If we find signs of mold during restoration we will let you know. Significant mold growth may require a specialized remediation company, and we will tell you if that is the case.
Can you fix the roof and the ceiling at the same time?
Yes. We fix the roof first so the water stops, then restore the interior.
